Pastor Scott's Message

Last Wednesday Sue Schultz organized a crew of Glendale Members to provide a pancake breakfast for our CCLS families. Rodger Lubben, Ron Froesel, Marcia Hempel, Lauren Mistler and Kelly Climer made the food, set up the gym and greeted the guests. We had about fifty people sit down and eat. Most of our CCLS families never get the chance to get to know other preschool families so they loved the opportunity. We also sat with them and had conversations. The kids were excited to be eating whipped cream and chocolate chips.

Glendale Lutheran is the only CCLS congregation that has a preschool team that coordinates these kind of events. Beth Kiessling is a new teacher who taught at Kirkwood for 14 years. She is impressed at the efforts we make including pastor-led chapels, birthday bags, Thanksgiving gifts and of course, the pancake breakfast. Now that Ann Jonas works with the infants, we have a member who shares the love of Jesus from inside the staff. God is working in and through the CCLS community at Glendale. Thank you to all of those who love our teachers, kids and families.
