Pastor Scott's Message

We just had one of my favorite times of the year, CCLS Grandparents day. A hundred grandparents and special guests spent the morning with us and their grandkids. I led chapel then they visited classrooms, made art projects, had snacks and got their picture taken together. The parking lot was full and the energy level was high. The kids will cherish those memories. I also invited the families back in a few days for CCLS Sunday.

This Sunday is the makeup date because our first CCLS Sunday got iced out. Kelly Climer helped organize the first one and the second one. We have people setting up tables and making goodies. We have kids lighting the candles and youth reading the readings. This is another opportunity to welcome new families. The kids already see this as a special place. We want their parents to feel the same. Maybe your smile and handshake helps them to choose to comeback to Glendale Lutheran Church. If you would like to help more, contact Kelly Climer.
