On Thursday October 12th, I’m leading a new Bible
study opportunity “Lunch with Luther.”
From Noon to 1pm we will be diving into the reformation using the
superbly made Lutheran Hour Ministries series, A Man Named Martin, Part 1.”
We are nearing the 500th anniversary of the
nailing of the 95 thesis. That act was a
crucial moment in the history of the church.
It led to a wide spread discovery of the Gospel. God used his servant Martin Luther to share
the good news with the world.
“Lunch with Luther” will give you insights into history and
Luther’s testimony. We will celebrate
that God was working in the church 500 years ago and continues to work
today. Jesus began a good work in
Germany five centuries ago and he will bring that good work to completion
through his church. “Lunch with Luther”
will meet for five Thursdays.
