There will be no Sunday School or Bible Class on December 25 or January 1.

Stewardship Sentence

John 1:5 "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." Through all of our hardships, all of our sorrows, all of our pains and loneliness: Jesus' light shines in the darkness, and we are not overcome. In the face of our sin, in the midst of our pettiness, against all our pride: Jesus' light shines and illuminates our hearts, and changes us, day by day, into a greater reflection of His likeness.

Pastoral Care

If you need pastoral care for any reason, don't hesitate to contact the church office or one of the vacancy pastors directly. Pastor Biermann will be at the church on Monday and Thursday mornings most weeks, and Pastor Erkkinen is available on campus on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Angel Tree

Thank you for choosing an ornament and bringing a wrapped gift for the seminarians' children. The gifts that were placed under the tree have been delivered to the seminary. They are very much appreciated! If you still have an ornament and still want to bring in a gift, please place it under the tree soon.

Thank You

Thank you for all the well-wishes during my confinement. ~ LaVerne Eifert

Worship Service Live Broadcast and Service Video Archives
This is just a reminder that we broadcast all of our worship services over the internet.  Anyone can access these broadcasts by going to our church web site www.glendalelutheranchurch.org and clicking on the orange "live web broadcast" button. You should also be reminded that if you are not able to watch during the actual worship times that all of these broadcasts are archived and historical service broadcasts as well are available. Equally important is that, due to the underwriting of one of our members, ALL of these broadcasts are now commercial free. This commercial free capability costs $100.00/month. Since we have implemented this commercial free broadcast our number of viewers has increased dramatically from 1 or 2 to sometimes 10 or 15 with a high of 38 views. If you are led to support this financially, a designated contribution in any amount is welcome.
