Pastor Scott's Message
Next week is Music on the Lawn! It's Saturday June 30th at 6pm.  The 75th Anniversary team recruited a band, The Apollos, that features David Reed of our church and Katie Killian of Concordia.  Thrivent is providing the food. What we also need is lots of attenders.
We asked God to give us an opportunity to be hospitable and he sent Jazzfest our way. We faithfully responded by having fifty of our members in their Glendale Lutheran Polos man our booth and help out. We handed out 500 Music on the Lawn flyers. We've put the word out on our sign, on facebook and in the paper. The most effective tool is for you to come and bring a guest.
The church can spend lots of money on advertising but people come to things in which they know someone. Bring your family, your extended family. We want this church to have all of the generations. Bring your neighbors. It's like a block party. Bring that person who has been on your heart lately. God could be talking to you. Church family, music and food is an unbeatable combination.

Voters' Meeting
A final reminder that a Voters' Meeting is scheduled for this Sunday, June 24, 2018, for a final reading of and vote on the Leadership Council's proposed 2018/2019 budget that was discussed on May 20, 2018, and on the resolution to convert our member loans to a principal and interest loan. The final proposed budget and the member loan resolution were placed in everyone's mailbox on June 17, 2018. The Meeting will take place in the Sanctuary immediately following the service and before Bible Class.

Yard Work Volunteer Wanted
We are looking for a volunteer to maintain the boxwood bushes on our campus. Bushes should be trimmed as necessary (2 to 3 times per year). It is estimated to take two to three hours to trim. We will provide a cordless trimmer unless you prefer to use you own. Please let Michelle know if you are willing to take responsibility for this seasonal task.
