Pastor Scott's Message Easter Greetings! It was a joy to spend my our first resurrection day together. Thank you to Jim Thielker and the choir for their joyful music, office assistant Michelle Fiala for her busy week creating bulletins, all those who brought food, those who decorated the sanctuary, and you for worshipping with us. Come back for our Spring Music concert next Sunday the 15th at 3pm. As we bask in the glow of the empty tomb, we peak around the corner. Our team met and set a date for our kickoff worship service celebrating our 75th anniversary. It's May 6th! Pastor Albers and I will do the service together and we hope to have a special guest. There were a lot of other ideas we are working on, including reunions, service projects, dinners and more. Soon you will see our special Glendale Church banners on Sappington. We also have our first Jazzfest coming up. Anyone who wants to help can meet in the Family Life center after Bible class at 11:30am this Sunday. We've never done this before so it's a great opportunity. I want us to figure out how we can be a blessing to our neighbors at Jazzfest and leave them with a positive impression of this place. Jazzfest is Friday, May 25. We prayed for something like this and God made it happen.
