Pastor Scott's Message

On the sign in front of our church I have “African Children’s Choir Sunday Aug 25th 6:30pm, Feel the Joy!” There are few times in our lives when we know we will feel joy. It is that feeling of happiness, hope and excitement. If you come this Sunday to the concert, I believe you will experience joy.

These kids from Uganda are on the trip of a lifetime. Most kids from their country never get to venture across the globe. The African Children’s choir allows these children to see new continents, meet foreign people and sing in all kinds of churches. They are both African ambassadors and Christian missionaries. They bring us songs, stories and dance from their country. They also bring us Jesus.  

It is an honor to host them. I hope that you will come and bring somebody. Let’s fill the church with kid’s voices, grateful clapping and joy that can only come through seeing God at hand. We get to unite the church from the east with the church in the west. God will use the little children to proclaim his glory. Come and feel the Joy!
