One Family Bible Class This week we study Luke 10:1-24 where Jesus sends out the 72. God chose the 72 to serve Him for a special task. God places us in various callings, giving us opportunities to serve Him and share our faith with others. God in His mercy uses all vocations to meet the needs of the world. In His Son, Jesus, He provides for my spiritual needs through pastors, Christian parents, and others, and He equips me to share His love with others.
Stewardship Sentence Acts 2:1 "When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place." Notice that Pentecost is actually an Old Testament festival: it happens around the time when the wheat and oats are ready to be brought in. In the New Testament this becomes a picture and foreshadowing of the great harvest of humankind that God means to bring in through the preaching of His Word. God gives the seed, and God brings about the harvest - through the work of His Church.

Calling All Crafters! We will be hosting another craft fair this fall on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M All kinds of crafts are needed to make the fair a success. If you have a special talent that you would like to showcase, here is your chance. All money's collected from the sale will be used for the repair of the organ. We understand that this repair will require the removal of all the pipes to get to the problem area. If you plan to donate to the fair please let the Nifty Knitters and the Clever Crocheters know what you have in mind. Place your ideas for donations in Sally Dobrunz's box. Thanks in advance for your donations. |
Rummage Sale--Save the Date! It is getting close to time for our annual rummage sale. Items can be brought to the gym beginning on Sunday, June 19. Look for a volunteer sign-up sheet to be posted on the kiosk soon. |

Children's Worship Materials We are looking for someone to take charge of the children's worship materials at the back of the church. This would entail periodically checking the bags to ensure each is stocked with paper, crayons, etc. If you are interesting in serving this way, please contact the church office. |
