Birthday Bags and Meal Kits - Community Service Project GLC and CCLS are joining together for the 3rd year to bring joy to a child and their family on his/her birthday. Operation Food Search (OFS) will distribute the bags to agencies that work with families who would not be able to afford a birthday party and surprises for their children without our help. Please consider putting together the Birthday Bag(s) and the Meal Kit(s) during February and placing completed bags on the floor near the box in the foyer by March 2, 2018. Recognizing this takes a bit of work, equally good alternatives are to purchase some of the pieces for either the party or meal bag and place them in the box at the entrance to the church OR give a cash donation to the church secretary, Michelle, Marcia Hempel (GLC) or Jessica Berner (CCLS). We will use the cash to fill in missing pieces in bags on March 3 when we gather to check bags for completion. WHATEVER YOU CONTRIBUTE WILL BE A BIG HELP. THANK YOU. |
Offering Option If you are one that would prefer to make contributions to Glendale via your online banking application, please setup your account to pay Glendale directly. You can setup an automatic payment to Glendale on a recurring basis which will send a check to the Church office. Please also include your envelope number on the memo line. Just set it and forget it! A Note of Thanks I would personally like to commend all of the people who had anything to do with the wonderful new directory. I love the history--some of which I knew, but much that I didn't--and the pictures all look great. Thank you very much! -- Sally Dobrunz |
